Stella ("the app") is a planetarium for iPhone and iPad. Everything it shows is computed on your device from catalogs and maps bundled with the app. We operate no server, run no analytics, show no advertising and embed no tracking SDKs.
The app asks for your location while it is in use so the sky it draws matches the sky above you: which stars are up, where the horizon is, when the Sun and the Moon rise and set. The coordinates are used in memory while the app runs and are not stored, logged or transmitted. If you decline, the app uses a fixed provisional location (Madrid) and tells you so on screen; you can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services.
In sensors mode the app reads the device's orientation (gyroscope, accelerometer and compass) to turn the sky as you move the phone. These readings are consumed on the device as they arrive and are not stored or transmitted. Manual mode, where you drag the sky with a finger, does not use the sensors at all.
The app stores the following in its own settings on the device:
| Item | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Display options: which layers are shown, whether night mode is on | So the app opens the way you left it |
Nothing else is written. These settings are removed when you uninstall the app.
Stella is a one-time purchase made through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment; the app contains no in-app purchases and receives no name, email, payment details or any other personal data. Apple's handling of purchases is described in Apple's privacy policy.
The app asks for location (while in use) and for motion and fitness access, both described above, and for nothing else. It does not access your contacts, calendar, photos, camera or microphone.
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with its date. The app itself links here from "About Stella".

Para cualquier pregunta, escribe a support@priet.us.
